Before then, he spent 12 years reporting on the media industry in the U.S. and Europe, reporting for International Cable magazine and serving as editor for such outlets as Cable World and CableFAX Daily. His journalism career started in 1990 as a reporter for a Washington Post-owned weekly newspaper based in Montgomery County, Md.
