I already subscribe to sports newsletters, so why read Sports Business Daily?
Sports Business Daily is a daily executive news briefing – not a newsletter – and there is nothing like it in the sports industry today. Unlike newsletters, Sports Business Daily updates you on the latest industry news every morning. On a daily basis, we "cover the coverage" from media outlets around the world, in a reliable, concise and user-friendly format. This means you will have more of "the news you need to know" to make better business decisions.
Where does Sports Business Daily get its information?
Sports Business Daily draws its information from major metropolitan, mid- and small-market dailies throughout the world; sports, entertainment, and business news shows on TV and sports radio broadcasts; industry trade publications; online sites and blogs; national sports and business periodicals; and directly from sports leagues, teams, sponsors, agencies, media and licensees.
How is Sports Business Daily different from a clipping service?
Sports Business Daily condenses and prioritizes the news for you every day, instead of providing entire news articles as they appear in newspapers. Our staff repackages the news in a way that allows you to get the information you need immediately.
If Sports Business Daily is only published Monday through Friday, how are readers exposed to weekend news?
The Monday edition of Sports Business Daily covers the industry news that is published and broadcast during the previous Saturday and Sunday. In addition, on Sunday afternoons we send out a news update called Weekend Rap, which includes any major news that happens on Saturday or Sunday morning. Also, on Saturday mornings we send out a summary email highlighting some of the news you might have missed during the week, along with a listing of the most-read stories from Sports Business Journal and Daily.
What is Sports Business Daily Global edition?
Sports Business Daily Global is a sister publication to Sports Business Daily. The Daily Global was launched in June 2012 and brings the same thorough and disciplined journalistic approach to covering sports business news stories throughout the world. On a daily basis, its editorial team will follow more than 200 local language publications and media outlets across Europe, Asia and the BRIC countries. Areas of industry coverage will include media, TV/Digital; marketing and sponsorships; technology; teams, leagues and other properties/governing bodies; facilities and franchises; and people/names in the news.
Is Sports Business Daily Global in English or in the local language?
Sports Business Daily Global edition draws its news from more than 200 English and local language publications and media outlets across Europe, Asia and the BRIC countries. New stories from local language publications are translated and summaries are provided in English; however, links back to the original reporting are provided in local language.
Can you subscribe to the Daily Global separate from Sports Business Daily?
All subscribers to Sports Business Daily have complete access to Sports Business Daily Global edition news stories, and vice versa. You cannot subscribe to only one of these publications.
Do subscribers to Sports Business Journal magazine have access to content in Sports Business Daily and the Daily Global?
