NFL's 32 Equity Arm Invests In Point-Of-Sale Firm Appetize
The NFL through its 32 Equity arm has invested in California-based point-of-sale company Appetize. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal closed out a previously announced Series B funding round at now $23M, and it brought Appetize’s total funding to date to more than $50M. Appetize technology is now at 10 NFL stadiums, and the company in June landed an account with the Eagles to power food and beverage sales at Lincoln Financial Field. Other investments for 32 Equity, formed in '13, include Fanatics, On Location Experiences, Stack Sports and Strivr.
