Wheels & Deals: Blue-Emu Becomes Official Partner Of NASCAR

NASCAR and Blue-Emu announced a multiyear agreement designating the company as an official partner of NASCAR, Martinsville Speedway and Motor Racing Network. Blue-Emu will serve as title sponsor of NASCAR Cup Series spring events at Martinsville Speedway, with the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 debuting under the lights on May 9. Blue-Emu also recently announced a multiyear partnership with MLB (NASCAR).

INDY LIVERY: Driver Charlie Kimball will "carry the colors of energy services company ripKurrent on his No. 4 A.J. Foyt Racing Chevy in the Indianapolis 500" this year. The Florida-based company also will appear on the "nose of his car throughout the season as an associate sponsor." Kimball's car will run a number of "different liveries over the course of the season as the team continues to sign new marketing partners for its two-car program to replace ABC Supply" (RACER.com, 2/27).

GENESIS FOR GENESYS: Genesys has signed on as title sponsor of the annual IndyCar race at Texas Motor Speedway, which is now called the Genesys 600. The software company replaces DXC Technology, and it expands the software company's presence in the series after recently entering IndyCar via a three-race sponsorship with James Hinchcliffe and Andretti Autosport (Adam Stern, THE DAILY).
