Lightning Players, '47 Brand Partner For Personalized Merchandise

Several Lightning players had the "chance to show off a bit of their personalities with some new merchandise this week," according to Nearhos & Faiello of the TAMPA BAY TIMES. Lightning RW Tyler Johnson, Cs Anthony Cirelli and Brayden Point, along with Ds Victor Hedman and Ryan McDonagh, all "sat down with designers from the ‘47 brand to help create" the new personalized items. Each player "got to design their own hat and T-shirt for production." The hats were "sold in limited quantities, 1,000 hats produced per player plus the player’s number." The T-shirts "sold out online mere hours after they were released Tuesday morning," and they "will be reprinted as needed." For every hat and T-shirt purchased, $10 is "donated to the charity of that player’s choice" (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 2/28).
