Florida Hospital On Board As Second Founding Partner For Renovated Daytona Int'l Speedway

Daytona Int'l Speedway is announcing today that it has sold Florida Hospital its second "Founding Partner" sponsorship as part of track's $400M renovation, scheduled for completion next year. Florida Hospital gets designation as the official healthcare provider of DIS beginning next year. Also included in the deal is entitlement for one of the five new entrances at the track, which is more than 20,000 square feet. Much of that will be used for a fan engagement area. The hospital will also be an “inaugural partner” in a 190-acre mixed-use retail, dining and entertainment development adjacent to the track. Naming rights to care centers and first aid stations within the track complex are also packaged with the deal. Sources put the deal at more than 10 years and mid-seven figures per year. As the official healthcare provider, Florida Hospital will provide medical equipment, ambulances and personnel for speedway events. Florida Hospital replaces Halifax Health with healthcare rights at DIS. Other Florida Hospital sports sponsorships include deals with the Buccaneers, Magic, Lightning and AFL Tampa Bay Storm. Toyota in February signed on as the track's first Founding Partner.
