Get Your Shine On: Daytona, Talladega Sign First Official Moonshine Sponsorships

Daytona Int'l Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway have signed their first official moonshine sponsorship deals. Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine will be the official moonshine of both facilities and draw on the historic connection between NASCAR and moonshine to promote its product. NASCAR traces its roots back to drivers running moonshine in the Appalachian Mountains. Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, which also has deals at Charlotte and Bristol, will have 10 concession bars at Talladega as a result of the deal. ISC, which owns both tracks, sold the sponsorship.
