NBA Labor Talks Wrap Up For The Day, Will Resume Tomorrow

The NBPA wrapped up its meeting today in N.Y. with team player representatives to discuss labor issues. The union and the NBA are set to gather tomorrow in N.Y. for another day of bargaining as the clock winds toward the June 30 expiration of the league’s CBA. Tomorrow’s labor talks come after Tuesday’s negotiations, which brought the union’s offer of a five-year deal to include a $100M annual salary decrease. The NBA countered with its offer of a $62M flex cap and offered players a minimum of $2B in annual salary. The NBA’s BOG is scheduled to meet on Tuesday in Dallas, where owners could vote to lock out the players.
