With Almost 30 Int'l Prospects, NBA Draft Will Air In 200 Countries

With 28 international prospects in this year's NBA Draft, including top-five projected picks Enes Kanter and Jonas Valanciunas, the event tonight will be televised in 200 countries and 10 languages. Outlets from China, the Czech Republic and Spain will be on-site at Prudential Center in Newark. Five new TV partners will air the 7:00pm ET event for the first time: China's Sina.com; France's MCS Extreme and Orange Sport; and Hong Kong's NBA TV and Now TV. In the U.S., NBA TV is airing a total of 150 hours of Draft-focused programming, including the '11 "NBA Draft Preview Presented by Kia Motors" at 6:00pm (THE DAILY).

For its coverage, ESPN "plans to have video conferences with 16 teams." There will also be live coverage from Cleveland, as the Cavaliers have the No. 1 and No. 4 picks (DENVER POST, 6/20).
