Featured Interview with General Martin Dempsey


Former chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2011-14, General Dempsey retired in October 2015 after 41 years of military service. He now teaches leadership and public policy as a Rubenstein Fellow at Duke University and serves as Chairman of USA Basketball. A specialist in leading effectively and operating in complexity, General Martin Dempsey will share experienced insights into leadership development, fostering innovation, and building creative, adaptive professionals skilled at leading organizational change while operating in complexity.

He will also share his thought on the pandemic’s impact on college sports and the reaction to it by the conferences.

The Forum’s speaker faculty consists of top industry executives who are on the front lines of college sports business, tackling the critical issues, negotiating the unprecedented deals and making the decisions that drive growth.
