Jeff Volk is Deltatre’s Senior Vice President, Head of Business & Revenue, Americas. In his current role, he oversees all of Deltatre’s commercial endeavors in the region. He joined Deltatre from BAMTech Media, the streaming services spinoff of MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM) acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2017, where he was Senior Vice President, Business Development. Jeff spent more than seven years at BAMTech and MLBAM, where he drove significant new revenues through social gaming partnerships, original content ventures, licensing initiatives, and streaming and technology partnerships, including WWE Network, PGA TOUR LIVE, Discovery and Eurosport, among others.
Before joining MLBAM, Volk was the President of Digital Media at Athletes’ Performance (now Exos) and served as the Director and GM, Advanced Media at the USTA, where he oversaw the USTA Network (200+ websites) and USOpen.org. Jeff also worked for the consulting firm, Scient, and for Brand Marketing Agency, Ketchum.
Volk is also the co-founder of NYVC Sports (@NYVCSports) and (@SFVCSports) a curated network of 2,500+ senior executives who sit at the intersection of the investment, entrepreneurial, and established digital media communities, and host monthly events, dinners and panels. Jeff is also an active investor and the Co-Founder/Board Member of DIDiT Labs (@DIDiT).
Outside the office, Jeff is involved with several causes, including UJA’s Sports for Youth and Digital Media Boards, Wharton’s Sports Business Initiative, NextGen Angels, and The Paley Center for Media strategic council. He has also raised more than $30,000 for charities through the NYC Triathlon, Pan Mass Challenge and the Northeast AIDS Ride (NYC to Boston).
Volk is a Boston native, received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA at the NYU Stern School of Business. He currently lives in Westchester with his wife and two children.
