General Manager, StubHub Center
With more than 20 years of experience in the sports industry, Katie Pandolfo is the General Manager for StubHub Center, a 125-acre multi-sport venue in Los Angeles. Pandolfo oversees all aspects of the complex which include soccer, tennis and track & field stadiums and an indoor track cycling velodrome. StubHub Center is home to Major League Soccer’s most predominant team – the LA Galaxy. The stadium is also the interim home for the newly relocated Los Angeles Chargers of the NFL. The facility is home to three National Governing Bodies (United States Soccer Federation, United States Tennis Association and USA Cycling), and is an official U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site, hosting more than 150 sporting and live music events annually. The StubHub Center was chosen as the South Bay Sports Park and will host 5 sports during the 2028 Olympic Games.
Pandolfo joined StubHub Center staff in 2004 as Event Manager, and served for two years as Vice President, Events and Booking. In 2009, she was named the General Manager for the facility. She led the stadium through 3 MLS Cup victories for the LA Galaxy (2011, 2012, 2014), spearheaded efforts to increase public transportation to the stadium by working with local and state officials and created a true ‘work life balance’ wellness program for all employees by offering CrossFit and yoga classes as well as opening a kitchen on site for employees to buy a subsidized healthy lunch.
An active member in the City of Carson and in the South Bay, Pandolfo was appointed by the City to the Carson Economic Development Commission. She serves as a member of the Carson Dominguez Employers Alliance as well as Carson Forward, a non-profit organization focused on driving new business to the City. For her service to the city and her accomplishments at StubHub Center Pandolfo was honored in 2016 and named an industry ‘Game Changer’ by the Sports Business Journal.
