As the Chief Revenue Officer for the Philadelphia 76ers, Jake Reynolds is responsible for the corporate partnership sales and activation and ticket sales and service departments, strategy and revenue generation for the National Basketball Association franchise. Under his leadership, the 115-person ticket sales and service department, the largest in professional sports today, has achieved unprecedented success in new season ticket membership growth and retention, group sales and employee retention and promotion. Over the past four years with the iconic NBA franchise, Reynolds spearheaded significant changes to the team’s sales and service departments, the result of which placed the 76ers at the top of NBA new season ticket membership and fan customer service charts.
Reynolds was an integral driver in the design, development and implementation of the Philadelphia 76ers and partner, StubHub’s groundbreaking ticketing platform. The revolutionary new ticketing platform seamlessly integrates and makes available primary and secondary seats in one marketplace, on one seating map, with one blended pricing purchase process; providing 76ers fans unparalleled access to available seats with a world-class, fan-friendly mobile experience.
A 2017 honoree at the Leaders and Aspire Academy’s international “Leaders Under 40” awards, Reynolds routinely presents his signature corporate culture tactics and approach at NBA and sports industry conferences. His millennial management philosophy and style has been chronicled in Sports Illustrated, the Sports Business Journal, the Philadelphia Business Journal and more. His management initiatives played a critical part in 76ers three-time recognition as one of the “Best Places to Work in Philadelphia,” by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Prior to his position with the Philadelphia 76ers, Reynolds was the Director of Inside Sales for Monumental Sports & Entertainment, overseeing the ticket sales, servicing, and sales staff efforts for the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, Washington Mystics, and Georgetown men’s basketball.
Reynolds has his B.S. in Business Management from Utah Valley University. He resides in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, with his wife Emily and their three daughters.
