The England & Wales Cricket Board is set to make a "U-turn" on the future of women’s cricket by reversing its decision to "abolish county teams from next season." Last month, it was reported that the ECB planned to get rid of the 35-team County Championship next year to "focus purely on eight regional teams" (LONDON TIMES, 5/9).

McLaren Racing and Arrow Electronics announced a long-term commercial partnership. It is Arrow's first deal in F1 (McLaren). 

USA Cricket's men's national team finished in the top four at the ICC World Cricket League Division 2, assuring itself One-Day Int'l status (USA Cricket). 

Retailer Zavvi apologized for "mistakenly telling customers they had won VIP tickets to the Champions League final." The company's "entire email database" was reportedly sent a "notification of winning" tickets, flights, hotel accommodation and a $325 prepaid cash card (ITV, 5/9).
