About you

Could not go a day without: Facetime, being able to see my nieces and nephew every day is the best.

Go-to person when you need help: My wife, Ilana. She is the most intelligent and perceptive person I have ever met. To have someone be such an insightful sounding board who knows you better than anyone else, I am very lucky. I truly feel balance is so important in the world we live in as we can constantly be plugged in, she has helped me find that balance.

In 10 years, I hope to be … : Balanced. It is very important that I am giving as much to my family as I am to my profession.

I feel our generation is just naturally curious and eager, not entitled. We push the envelope in so many different directions as a result.

In the industry

Biggest surprise at career’s start: Collaboration. The environment we have with the Dolphins is crazy collaborative. The access and insight that I have been able to gain across the organization was a huge surprise.

Most exciting aspect of sports business: Opportunity for innovation. Being presented with the opportunity to innovate daily is not something that I take lightly. We are not afraid to take calculated risks and be the first.

How should sports address social issues? As a professional sports organization, we are very lucky with how large our platform is and I believe there is a responsibility that comes with that. We represent a large community of fans that we have the ability to bring together for good.

Sports industry needs to do a better job of … : Hiring diverse voices from inside and outside of the sports industry. We have seen this firsthand and are growing so much from it. There are different views and opinions constantly showing up, which I believe makes everyone better.
