Sports radio vignettes part of effort

Coinciding with the start of the NFL season, VSiN will syndicate one-minute sports betting vignettes to radio stations across the country. The sports betting media company is selling “VSiN Action Update” twice a day to sports talk radio stations.

Sam Panayotovich will host the vignettes initially, though VSiN is looking to hire other hosts. The programming, which will offer snapshots of how betting lines are moving, will be localized for bigger markets.

“We’re still trying to grow brand recognition,” said Brian Musburger, VSiN’s founder and chairman. “Getting on sports talk radio has been an important part of growing the VSiN brand. We know that’s where this audience lives.”

CrossOver Media Group handles the ad sales for the vignettes.
