In the second year of his new role, Lazarus will oversee production for the two biggest sporting events in 2018 that happen to occur within days of each other: Super Bowl LII and the Winter Olympics. Lazarus increasingly will rely on top lieutenants such as David Preschlack, who is running the regional sports networks, one of the most profitable parts of the Comcast empire.
