Beijing-Based Momentum Sports Merges Into CAA China

CAA China merged Momentum Sports, a Beijing-based sports marketing company founded by former NBA China exec Mark Gao, into its operations. Financial details were not disclosed. As part of the agreement, Legend Capital, an investor in Momentum Sports, will become a shareholder in CAA China. Gao will now work closely with CAA China CEO Mary Gu to grow CAA China's sports endeavors. Gao launched Momentum Sports in '16 after serving as NBA China VP. Momentum Sports over the past two years has been active in sports marketing, athlete representation and brand consulting. It counts as consulting clients both local and int'l companies, including vivo, Mengniu, Home Credit, BMW, Logitech and Nike.
