Gary Neville To Appear In Front Of Parliament Over Wembley Sale

Former England int'l and Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville will "take his stinging criticism of the FA's proposal to sell Wembley all the way to Parliament," according to Laura Lambert of the London DAILY MAIL. Neville will give evidence at Wednesday's "crucial" Department for Culture, Media & Sport committee hearing on the future of the stadium. It is "unclear why he has been invited" to take part, and who he will be representing, but his comments "immediately after the proposed sale was announced in April would suggest he will be hyper-critical." Neville, 43, is one of five witnesses listed to attend the hearing, which is "expected to become heated" as MPs "grill" FA CEO Martin Glenn on the possible £1B ($1.3B) deal with EPL side Fulham Owner Shahid Khan (DAILY MAIL, 7/16).
