Paris St. Germain To Open N.Y. Outpost To Lead Americas Outreach

Paris St. Germain will open an office in N.Y. to oversee growth into the Americas. The club has hired Jérôme de Chaunac, who was previously global managing director at marketing agency Havas Sports & Entertainment, to serve as managing director of the Americas and oversee the office. PSG has toured the U.S. the last three years, and PSG’s women’s team will tour the U.S. this summer for the first time as part of the Int’l Champions Cup’s women’s tournament. The club already has youth training programs based in N.Y., Miami, Montreal and Brazil. It has more than 20 fan clubs across North and South America.
