Marketplace Roundup: Snooker Body Partners With Assetereum

The World Professional Billiards & Snooker Association Seniors Tour announced Assetereum Crypto Currency as its main sponsor for the 2018 World Seniors Championship, which will be held at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe, England, from March 20-24. The company will award 10,000 Assetereum cryptocurrency coins to the winner and 5,000 to the runner-up (WPBSA).

London-based genomics company DNAFit announced a new deal with the Egyptian Olympic Committee and extended its partnership with the Egyptian FA. As part of the agreement with the EOC, the company will "incorporate its genetic testing into individual training and diet plans for all potential Olympic representatives" ahead of Tokyo 2020 (SOCCEREX, 2/21).

League Championship side Brentford announced Simplexity Travel Management as its official travel partner. The Mayfair-based firm will take care of all of the club's travel requirements (Brentford).

Hong Kong LPGA golfer Tiffany Chan agreed to a sponsorship deal making her an ambassador for The Peninsula Hotels in '18 (The Peninsula Hotels).

Ligue 1 side Lille partnered with GPS navigation app Waze. The company will help optimize mobility and access to Lille’s Pierre Mauroy Stadium, including helping fans find the best available parking locations. It will also help fans find the best directions to away matches and provide a matchday notification for Waze users (Lille).

NRG Esports announced a partnership with Enjin Coin, a gaming cryptocurrency and smart contract platform developed by Singapore-based company Enjin. NRG Esports will distribute custom, NRG-branded tokens "as a means for fan engagement." Recipients will be able to use the tokens to enter raffles, with prizes including trips to events or matches, gaming hardware or merchandise signed by NRG players and the organization's "associated celebrities" (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 2/21).
