FA Hires Limelight Sports To Grow People's Cup

This year's People's Cup will see over 45,000 players take part in 18 different categories. The FA

The FA is "planning to scale its five-a-side tournament with better experiences for players and fans," according to Gurjit Degun of CAMPAIGN LIVE. The body appointed agency Limelight Sports to "help it grow The FA People’s Cup after having run the event in-house for two years." The free event, in partnership with BBC Get Inspired, has more than 40,000 people registered and the FA "added two new categories bringing it to a total of 18." There will be nationwide events, with the first round kicking off on Friday (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 2/21).
