Cricket Hong Kong Appoints Sunset+Vine To Broadcast '17 World Sixes, '18 T20 Blitz

Global TV sports producer and distributor Sunset+Vine, which is part of the Tinopolis Group, has been appointed by Cricket Hong Kong to "provide host broadcast services" for the 2017 Hong Kong World Sixes and 2018 Hong Kong T20 Blitz, according to David Davies of SVG EUROPE. The announcement comes as part of Cricket Hong Kong’s plan to "promote the sport in the region" by delivering two "world-class" cricket events each year. Sunset+Vine will produce 22 live games across the duration of the two-day Hong Kong Sixes event plus "additional content to complement the live action" including features and interviews, profile pieces on the teams and players, regular highlights updates for social media platforms and extended highlights programs of the group matches and finals. The partnership will enable Cricket Hong Kong to "produce its highest quality broadcast production to date" as it continues to build on the momentum from the T20 Blitz live stream in March, which "attracted nearly 12 million views." Sunset+Vine is the "current production partner" for all of the Int'l Cricket Council’s major events from '16-19 (SVG EUROPE, 9/29).
