Media Notes: RTÉ Radio Extends European Rugby Champions Cup Deal Through '19-20

RTÉ Radio signed a three-year extension to cover the European Rugby Champions Cup until the end of the '19-20 season. This season's Champions Cup kicks off on Oct. 13 when Pro14 side Ulster takes on Premiership Rugby club Wasps at the Kingspan Stadium. It will be the first of two games that will be covered live on RTÉ Radio, with Pro14 club Leinster's home clash against Top14 side Montpellier on Oct. 14 also live and exclusive on the station (RTÉ).

UPC added SPI/Filmbox channel FightBox to its sports package in Romania. It joins SPI/Filmbox channels FilmBox, FilmBox Plus, FilmBox Family, FilmBox Premium and FilmBox Extra HD already available in UPC Romania's offer (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 10/2).

The French Professional Football League (LFP) announced the renewal of its partnership with YouTube for the '17-18 season. The partnership, which began in '12, includes four channels that show game summaries, goals and interviews. A channel exclusively in English was also created (CB NEWS, 9/29).
