Arsenal launched the Arsenal Innovation Lab to work with startup organizations to identify groundbreaking new fan experiences and move the club's business forward. The Arsenal Innovation Lab will enable the club to work with entrepreneurial businesses to explore the following areas: improving matchday experience; engaging fans globally; transforming commercial partners' offering; and building a retail operation for the future (Arsenal).
Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian "knocked back" Aberdeen's request to train at Murrayfield ahead of Saturday's showdown. Hearts have been training at the venue all week in a bid to familiarize players with their "makeshift home." Aberdeen approached Hearts and asked if it could use the pitch on Friday but the Edinburgh club denied permission (Scotland DAILY RECORD, 9/7).
Inter Milan "hooked up with Japanese company iCure to share best practices in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation" as part of the Inter Academy Health project. The company specializes in the area and already works with the J.League. iCure staff will visit Inter Milan facilities before hosting the Italians "for seminars and group work" (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 9/7).
