There had been speculation Ferrari was interested in Bottas but that ended two weeks ago when KIMI RÄIKKÖNEN "renewed his contract with the Italian team" (AP, 9/3). ... A car that effectively represents the pinnacle of automotive racing technology "has been listed on the infamous" U.S. classifieds website Craigslist. The car in question is an "authentic" Lotus T128, as used by HEIKKI KOVALAINEN, JARNO TRULLI and, for one race, KARUN CHANDHOK during the '11 season (FOX SPORTS, 9/3). ... A former Scottish Championship club Rangers administrator "appeared in court over the alleged fraudulent acquisition of the clubs’ assets" in '12. PAUL CLARK, 51, "was charged with conspiracy and involvement in serious organised crime." He "made no plea or declaration and was released on bail." Former Rangers Owner CRAIG WHYTE, ex-CEO CHARLES GREEN and DAVID WHITEHOUSE, a joint administrator with Clark, "faced similar charges." On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
