Sky Sports Wins Broadcast Rights To England's October Test Series With Pakistan

Sky Sports won the rights to show England's tour against Pakistan, when Alastair Cook's Ashes winners travel to the UAE in October. Following England's victory over Australia its next Test series comes less than two months later and marks the start of the winter schedule, with England also touring South Africa, before the ICC T20 World Cup in India next March -- all exclusively live on Sky Sports. The deal ensures that over the next five years Sky Sports will show more than 50 England Tests, and more than 350 scheduled days of live England cricket, as well as every Int'l Cricket Council competition until '23. England will play three Tests with Pakistan in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, as well as five ODIs and three T20 int'ls. The first Test takes place in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 13. Sky Sports acquired the rights through Taj TV Ltd. (Ten Sports), long-term partners through deals with Sri Lanka Cricket and West Indies Cricket.

LIVE FROM THE U.S.: Sky Sports News HQ will report live from across the U.S. for 12 hours on Sept. 9. It will be the first time any broadcaster has ever visited every NFL franchise in one day. A team of reporters will interview players, coaches and stadium and backroom staff to provide updates and stories a day before the first game of the season. In addition to "32 Live," Sky's coverage also includes at least five games a week, including Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football (Sky Sports).
