Football League Partners With Liftshare.com, Creates 'Get To The Game' Platform

The Football League and Britain's largest car sharing site Liftshare.com announced a nationwide partnership that will bring low-cost, sustainable travel to fans of Football League clubs. Fans will have access to the new "Get to the Game" travel platform starting Thursday. Not only can fans can see all public transport options to any match quickly using the platform, they can consult Liftshare to find other fans traveling their way. The tool allows drivers to post details of their matchday travel and offer their spare car seats to other fans for a split of the total petrol spend to keep costs down. Football fans without a car can request and pre-book lifts to or from a game with those driving to fixtures (Football League).

UK SPORT SIGNS EUROPCAR: European vehicle hire service company Europcar was on Thursday named UK Sport's official car hire supplier. The partnership will see Europcar provide transportation solutions for UK Sport and its associated national governing bodies (UK Sport).
