He spent the last 16 years at Making Music. During his time as CEO at the organization, an advocacy and support group for grass-roots music organizations, "he helped grow its funding base significantly and ran several high-profile lobbying campaigns in areas such as Gift Aid and music licensing" (CO-OPERATIVE NEWS, 6/9). ... J.League side Cerezo Osaka said on Monday that it had fired Manager RANKO POPOVIC "due to the club's poor results." The 46-year-old Serb "took the helm of the Osaka club in March" (AFP, 6/9).
