Argentine First Division Side San Lorenzo VP Describes His Vision Of Club's Future Home

Argentine first division side San Lorenzo VP Marcelo Tinelli "described the plans for the club's new stadium," according to CLARIN. Tinelli: "The Fans' Subcommission has presented a project. I also brought one from France. We are working a lot with architect Claudio Pando. We still have not presented our project, but it will be a very important and modern stadium for nearly 50,000 people. ... It will be a remodeling for the entire neighborhood. The neighbors have to be very happy because it will be beautiful. It is a very pretty neighborhood, but it can improve a lot." Tinelli added, "The project is a mix of structures. It has some features of English stadiums and some similar to Real Madrid's stadium, but smaller. When I saw the new project for Real's stadium, I was saying that ours would have a few of those characteristics. ... Calling it a mini-Bernabeu is a bit strong, but it does have similarities with Real Madrid's project" (CLARIN, 4/7).
