Raiders' Trask, NFL's Sole Female CEO, Leaves Team After 26 Years

Amy Trask "resigned from the Raiders on Saturday, ending her tenure as the only female CEO in the NFL and as one of the highest-ranking women in American professional sports." Trask, who joined the team in '87 and was named CEO in '97, "found her role reshaped" under Raiders Owner Mark Davis. Since the arrival of GM Reggie McKenzie in January '12, her primary duties "were to generate revenue through marketing and ticket sales and help the organization in its quest for a new stadium" (OAKLAND TRIBUNE, 5/12).
