Lids Activating Around Melvin Gordon Endorsement Deal

Broncos RB Melvin Gordon changed football teams this spring, but he will be sticking with the hat retailer Lids for another endorsement gig this season. Lids today will unveil a line of Melvin Gordon-themed customizations and launch a content series around the star. Later this year, Gordon will release his own hat design.

Last year during his holdout from the Chargers, Gordon became Lids’ first NFL pitch man, starring in a campaign depicting his time away from the team called “Employee of the Month.” Lids Sports Group Chair & CEO Tom Ripley said, “We decided to make Melvin the first NFL player Lids partnered with because, among other things, he kept sharing pictures of himself at Lids on social media.”
