NASCAR's Xfinity Series race, initially for Tuesday night at Darlington, remains "scheduled to be held" tonight following a rain delay. Last night's rain-shortened Toyota 500 "marked the first time in NASCAR history that the Cup Series had two points-paying races at the same track in one week" (AP, 5/20).

Two more acts will not be performing at SoFi Stadium, which was scheduled to open with a series of concerts. Guns N’ Roses, which "had been scheduled to perform Aug. 8, announced it was postponing its tour." Tim McGraw, scheduled to perform Sept. 4 with Luke Combs, "announced he was canceling his tour" (L.A. TIMES, 5/21).

DePaul has entered into a multiyear partnership with Nike to make it the official apparel company of the school's athletic teams (DePaul).

The Rays are "opening Tropicana Field on Monday for limited and mostly individual player workouts" (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 5/21).

Casey Wasserman has “been in talks to buy the music assets of troubled Paradigm Talent Agency,” according to sources. He has “explored the idea" with financier and Pistons Owner Tom Gores, the "brother of Paradigm Chief Executive Sam Gores” (L.A. TIMES, 5/21).
