American Gaming Association Promotes Responsible Sports Betting

aga

The American Gaming Association will place responsible gambling messages in arenas and stadiums as part of a public service campaign designed to educate fans about the risks associated with betting on sports. Debuting this week in Capital One Arena in DC, where the AGA is headquartered, and at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the “Have a Game Plan” campaign will encourage bettors to stick to a budget, make betting social, make informed wagers and bet with licensed, regulated sportsbooks.

The slogan appears on a dasher board at T-Mobile Arena and on a concourse wall at Capital One Arena, with smaller displays elsewhere. An AGA spokesperson said the organization purchased some inventory and received additional placement from the team at no cost. The AGA plans to extend the campaign, developed with Lagardere Sports, into more venues in states that have legalized sports betting.
