Altitude Reaches Deal With DirecTV, But Not Comcast Or Dish

Altitude Sports has reached a multiyear carriage agreement with DirecTV for "re-launch" today, "ending a two-month dispute" between the Colorado RSN and the distributor. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. As of late last night, Altitude "still did not have a deal in place with the other two major television distributors -- Comcast and Dish Network -- it has been locked in a stalemate with since its contracts lapsed in late August." The RSN's execs are "hopeful that Thursday's deal with DirecTV will allow for serious negotiations to begin with the other two distributors" (DENVER POST, 11/1).
