LA 2028 Fills Out Exec Roster With Brian Lafemina, Amy Gleeson

LA 2028 has hired former Redskins President of Business Operations & COO Brian Lafemina as its Chief Business Officer, putting him in charge of venue partnerships, hospitality and ticketing. LA 2028 also is set to name former Visa Olympics marketer Amy Gleeson CMO. Lafemina spent time at MSG and the NFL before joining the Redskins last year, where he lasted less than a year before being fired in December. Gleeson led IOC sponsor Visa’s global integrated campaigns during the '10, '12 and '14 Games.

Elsewhere, Legends named Nicole Jeter West GM of its relationship with U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Partners, the joint venture of LA 2028 and the USOC to sell commercial rights to the Games. Legends is the sponsorship sales agency for LA 2028. Lafemina, Gleeson and Jeter West will report to LA 2028 CRO Kathy Carter. Gleeson and Jeter West will work from N.Y., while Lafemina will relocate to L.A. this summer.
