NBC Sports Philadelphia Adds Betting Feed For 76ers Game

NBC Sports Philadelphia is the latest RSN to experiment with a gambling-focused alternate feed. The RSN’s overflow channel will feature betting-related commentary and graphics during tomorrow’s 76ers-Hawks game. Unlike NBC Sports Washington’s gambling-related alternate feeds, Philly’s version will feature alternate audio in addition to gambling graphics. The RSN’s Marc Farzetta will host with betting analyst Brad Feinberg and radio host Anthony Gargano. They will discuss how betting lines change during the game. The video will be the same as the regular feed on NBC Sports Philadelphia’s main channel.

NBC Sports Group has been one of the more aggressive traditional media companies when it comes to gambling-related programming. In January, its DC-based RSN produced an alternate feed called “Predict the Game” around eight Wizards games, ending Friday. NBC Sports’ app features free-to-play prediction games. NBC Sports Radio partnered with Westwood One Radio on an afternoon drive show, “The Daily Line,” that is focused on gambling-related topics.
