Ticket Brokers Granted Restraining Order Against Yankees
Maryland-based broker ASC Ticket and a group of related plaintiffs have won a temporary restraining order against the Yankees in their bid to regain 52 season tickets revoked by the club. New York state Supreme Court Justice James Hubert granted ASC the order, barring the club for now from reselling 49 of the 52 revoked tickets. Three season tickets that have already been resold by the Yankees will be replaced with similar inventory and held aside while the case continues. The parties will be back in court March 26 as ASC seeks an injunction against the Yankees.
