Sports Elites Gather At Coca-Cola Sports Summit In Atlanta

The Coca-Cola Sports Summit kicks off this morning in Atlanta, where the soft drink maker has invited top sports media execs such as CBS Sports Chair Sean McManus, ESPN President John Skipper and NBC Sports Group Chair Mark Lazarus to present during a two-day conference. Nearly 500 Coca-Cola insiders, bottling partners and retail customers have been invited. Later in the day, Coca-Cola will shift focus to the Rio Games in interviews with USOC CMO Lisa Baird and sponsored Olympians Ashton Eaton, Alex Morgan and others. The event concludes tomorrow with a grab bag of sessions exploring new topics in sports marketing.
