Laugh Track....Plate Coverage

NBC’s Jimmy Fallon: “Today was the Boston Marathon and this is very cool. For the first time since 1983, an American won. America! The guy's name is Meb Keflezighi. Incidentally, Meb was also the first word out of everyone’s mouth when they finished the marathon. … Congratulations to Meb Keflezighi, or as Bostonians are calling him, ‘Sully.’” More Fallon: "Baseball season is underway and now that he’s in the National League, Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon has to go up to bat because there is no designated hitter. He has to swing the bat.” An image of Colon was shown on-screen with his helmet falling off after he swings. Fallon noted, “He doesn’t know what the heck he’s doing. ‘I don’t have to do this. I haven’t done this in years.’ Good news is he got two ‘Grand Slams.’ The bad news is it was at Denny’s" (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 4/21).
