Jazz Ink Deal With Sporting Innovations To Use Fan360 Platform
The Jazz have signed a deal with Sporting Innovations to use the technology firm’s new Fan360 platform for the '13-14 NBA season. The system features Uphoria, a mobile technology designed to improve the fan experience and provide teams with a deeper understanding of fan behavior by tracking their game day purchases and social media connections. Sporting Innovations is a spinoff of MLS Sporting K.C. The tech vendor has other major league clients but the Jazz are its first big league partner to be announced publicly, said Sporting Innovations VP/Marketing Andy Tretiak.
The technology also contains a video replay feature branded as Playback allowing fans to use their mobile devices to view those images immediately after key moments in the game.
