WMG Signs Brittney Griner, With Colas To Serve As Primary Agent

Wasserman Media Group has signed Baylor Univ. C and expected No. 1 WNBA Draft pick Brittney Griner for representation in all areas. WMG VP/Action Sports & Olympics Lindsay Kagawa Colas will serve as Griner's primary agent. Colas said that she was already in talks with three shoe companies hours after signing Griner and that she competed not just with WNBA player agents, but also with those who rep NBA players. Colas added that one reason Griner chose WMG was its strong roster of both Olympic and action sports clients. She also said that she was in discussions last night with women’s clubs in Europe and China.
