The Seattle Downtown Design Review Board today is tentatively scheduled to re-examine the proposal for the city's planned NBA/NHL-ready arena (THE DAILY). Also today, the Local 19 chapter of the Int'l Longshore and Warehouse Union plans to challenge the Feb. 22 ruling by King County Superior Court Judge Douglass North that the agreement to build a new arena with up to $200M in public funds "did not violate state environmental laws" (SEATTLE TIMES, 3/5).
