NBA Releases Eight-Game Overseas '13 Preseason Schedule

The NBA has released its slate of games to be held overseas prior to next season, with the schedule to include eight games in six countries in October. The Thunder will tip off the league’s international preseason schedule on Oct. 5 in Istanbul when they play Fenerbahce Ulker. The 76ers on Oct. 6 will play in Bilbao against the Uxue Bilbao team. The Sixers and the Thunder will then play on Oct. 8 in Manchester. The NBA is partnering with Euroleague Basketball for the games in Europe. The European games will be sponsored by BBVA, which also sponsored the '12 preseason games in Europe.

The Rockets and the Pacers will travel to Manila for a game on Oct. 10, and the two teams will meet again on Oct. 13 in Taipei. The Bulls and the Wizards will play on Oct. 13 in Rio de Janeiro. The Lakers will play the Warriors on Oct. 15 in Beijing and on Oct. 18 in Shanghai.
