AFL Predators Offer "Performance Guarantee" To Ticket Holders

The AFL Orlando Predators plan to unveil a marketing campaign today that guarantees fans an incremental discount on '14 season tickets if the club fails to win at least 10 games this year. The discount grows by 10% percent for every game less than 10 that the Predators fail to win. Orlando last year was 4-14. Had the promotion, called the “Predators Performance Guarantee,” been in place for the '12 season, renewing season-ticket holders for '13 would have received a 60% credit applied to the cost of this year’s season tickets.

Predators Managing Partner Brett Bouchy created the new plan, which he said will be offered for as long as he owns the franchise. He has owned the team since '98. The team last year averaged 12,880 fans per game and the team currently has about 7,000 season-ticket holders. “It is easy to sell tickets when you are winning. It’s not so easy when you are losing,” Bouchy said. “It is about creating more value for season-ticket holders if we lose, and this is the answer.” The AFL season begins in April.
