Arizona State officials today will continue to make the school's case for spending up to $300M on a new Sun Devil Stadium. ASU AD Steve Patterson: "We'll talk about the design studies and the reasons why we need this so people have context to know what we're talking about" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 4/4).

Rose Bowl officials discovered they will have to spend another $1.1M on "steel and other unforeseen items" that will set the $160M renovation back "by about a week." The Rose Bowl Operating Co. during tomorrow's meeting will "consider adding another $645,000 to W&W Steel Company's contract" (PASADENA STAR NEWS, 4/4).
