NHRA Announces Multiyear Deal With InterContinental Hotels Group

The NHRA today announced a multiyear partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group, owner of Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Candlewood Suites. The deal will see IHG designate Candlewood Suites as the "Preferred Hotel of NHRA," giving the NHRA its first hotel sponsor since losing Motel 6 eight years ago. Financial terms of the agreement were not available. The deal includes advertising on NHRA.com and in NHRA Nitro News, a weekly e-mail sent to fans. IHG also receives access to the NHRA's 80,000 members.
