FTX invests $20M in new ad campaign featuring Brady, Bundchen

Cryptocurrency exchange platform FTX released a new ad campaign featuring the married couple of Buccaneers QB Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, with "plans to invest $20 million in the campaign," which begins tonight during the Cowboys-Buccaneers NFL season kickoff game, according to Megan Graham of the WALL STREET JOURNAL. The company said that the campaign will "run during NFL broadcasts throughout October along with digital advertising components." In an ad titled “FTX. You In?,” Brady "calls acquaintances" including NFL Jets superfan Fireman Ed "to join the platform." Brady and Bündchen in June said that they "would be taking an equity stake in FTX." The company Tuesday said that Warriors G Stephen Curry "would receive an equity stake in FTX as well for serving as a brand ambassador." FTX also "forged a naming rights deal worth $135 million" for the Heat's arena, now called FTX Arena. And the company this year said that it had "reached a deal to become the official cryptocurrency exchange" of MLB. Umpires will "wear FTX logos on their uniforms as part of that agreement" (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 9/9).
