Items from former NFL exec and current radio host UPTON BELL are now "displayed in perpetuity" on the UMass campus at the W.E.B. Du Bois Library. The legacy of Bell’s late father, BERT BELL, the second commissioner of the NFL, also is "weaved into the exhibit." The younger Bell in '71 became the "youngest general manager in NFL history" with the Patriots at age 33 (BOSTON GLOBE, 11/28).

NAMES: The Univ. of North Carolina General Alumni Association will honor former Big Ten Commissioner JIM DELANY with a Distinguished Service Medal and former NFLer JASON BROWN with a Distinguished Young Alumni Award. Brown retired from playing to create First Fruits Farm, a farm intended to help feed those in need (CAROLINA ALUMNI REVIEW, 11/ '20 issue)....MICHAEL JORDAN will donate $2M that he earned from the ESPN documentary "The Last Dance" to hunger-relief organization Feeding America (Mult., 11/25)....Golfer JON RAHM and his wife KELLEY are expecting their first child, as Rahm posted a photo on his Instagram page showing Kelley "cradling a growing baby bump" (GOLF.com, 11/28).
