La Liga club Valencia Adds Augmented Reality to Mobile App

Valencia CF has partnered with augmented reality company Imagine AR Inc. on a two-year deal.

Imagine AR will integrate its platform into the Valencia CF mobile app, allowing the Spanish soccer club to engage with fans through interactive mobile experiences during a season in which La Liga is currently playing without spectators due to the coronavirus.

The deal will also help Valencia CF gather marketing insights through ImagineAR’s software development kit on IOS and Android. The six-time La Liga champions are the first club in the league and the first sports team outside of the U.S. to make use of the ImagineAR platform.
